As I said in my last episode, I'm about done with death. Holy cow, went to a funeral for my buddy, and it was open casket. And I was like, Oh, are we still doing that? Oh, go. Well, yep, that's Todd. Ah. But here's the thing that was interesting, is I didn't know who Charlie Kirk was when he was murdered, and so I put out a thing on my Facebook and said, Hey, I didn't know who this guy is, but this whole we should talk to each other. I think I'm down with that. And I swear nobody read it. They just saw Charlie Kirk, and it was on like a Donkey Kong, like all the guys eating man, racist, big man here. And then somebody else and it was interesting. So I people were like, and it was cool, because it's friend of mine, right? People that know me, they're like, Hey, Dave. Like, you know we love you, but like,

1:31 you need to dig a little deeper. And so it did. And I think YouTube thinks I lean a little right, or maybe a lot right, what you do, but I also got some left leaning tendencies in me, just for the record. And so I go looking, and I found a black gay guy who went like, point to point to point, explaining how Charlie had a point. And I was like, wait a minute, because one of the things they say about Charlie is he's homophobic and he was a racist, so we got a black gay dude saying No, Charlie made some good points, and he said something I haven't heard anybody say in a long time, which was, we didn't agree on everything, and that's Okay, and I think that's the problem.

2:21 But so I think it's inner I really believe this is truly happening, that if I go search for Charlie Kirk racist, I'm not going to get much. But if I was a blue person, right, if I was a Democrat and I Googled on YouTube, which I realized makes no sense. I searched on YouTube Charlie Kirk races. I'm pretty sure I could find stuff. I'm really starting to believe that I need to log out of YouTube and search as a brand new YouTube user. I'm wondering if that is the case. And the reason I say that is because I know I'm like, hey, this the stuff I'm seeing.

3:07 Like, this guy makes some pretty good points. And the other side of this is like, no, no, Dave. And again, they're very some of them are getting a little less polite. Some of the people on the right getting kind of nasty calling, name calling. That's not cool, but, uh, let's, let's, let's be civil. But I'm starting to think that the reason they're like, Dave, what's how, like, how are you? I'm starting to wonder if maybe the technology is keeping like, hey, this Oh, you're, you're kind of a red person. You're going to see this result. I just wonder, because it's so odd that that people on both sides are like, no, no no.

3:49 Like, hey, you need to dig a little deeper. It's there. You got to see it. And when I dig a little deeper, I don't see it. And so for my friends on the left, like, if you're like, No, no, Dave, you're you're missing it. Send me the YouTube video. And both my buddy, uh, Daniel, J Lewis and I are now like, Hey, thank you for the comment. Can you send me a link to the video where he said this? Now we're not saying he didn't say it. We're just like, hey, we're in data collecting mode, and so we can make an honest decision here. And so far, nobody's giving me the links. So people on the left, if you're like, No Charlie Kirk was, you know, we're sorry. He's dead. It's an awful tragedy, but here's where he was a racist, misogynist, and all the other is right. Send me a link now to my friends on the right, I was doing a live show, and somebody I was talking about how Taylor Swift is a marketing genius, and somebody said, I don't. Don't lift her up. She's the devil. She's she's in with Satan and blah, blah, blah, bad, bad, bad. And I'm like, Look, I've been around rock and roll enough to know that, like people like, oh, Ted Nugent just a drug crazed maniac. Ted Nugent wouldn't drink caffeine, like he wouldn't drink coffee. He was so

5:20 anti drug. And I'm like, okay, easy there, you know, Mildred. I'm pretty sure you got that wrong on TED. So I started, I read, well, I listened to a whole book on Taylor Swift, and she's amazing. Like, at 14 years old, she had a record deal, and they just kind of wanted her to wait to grow up a bit. And she said, Well, I'm gonna, I'm gonna record my own songs. And I'm like, no, no. Little Taylor, like, you don't get it, we're gonna wait, and we're gonna bring in the best songwriters, and you're gonna sing those and you just wait a couple years where you're under a development deal. And she was like, no, no.

6:00 I'm pretty sure young girls will like my stuff. I want to do it. And they were like, and she said, That's it. I'm out. And she reneged on her, her like, she got out of her, her development deal at 14 because she had a vision. And I was like, wow, that takes some gumption, right there. But I was like, Hey, let's go find this Taylor Swift Satan stuff. So I go to YouTube, type it in, and there was a dude that's like, I'm here to tell you she's she's the devil. And then gave me absolutely zero proof. His only thing that he showed a video clip of was at the Super Bowl. She was sitting next to someone who had an upside down cross. And I was like, okay, all right, but sitting next to someone does not make you a devil worshiper.

6:57 I'm pretty sure the last time I checked, Jesus sat with tax collectors. He sat with prostitutes, you know, hung out with lepers. I'm pretty sure who you sit next to does not, you know, lead you to heaven or hell. I was like, that's granted, you know, you got to be careful with who you get influenced by. But, and there was one thing where she was on some sort of award show, and she was singing in a white dress, she stood behind a bunch of dancers who then did some sort of rip off her clothes, and she had a black dress on that was much higher cut, and a bunch of flame shot up, and I'm like, Yeah, rock and roll, what do you expect? But again, I don't know.

7:49 I cannot find, like, actual, Oh, I saw where the again, I did a thorough search. I looked at her lyrics, and one said, karma is God. And I was like, okay, so she's into karma. Well, what is karma? Well, karma is, you know, if you do good deeds, they will come back to you. And I was like, Where have I heard that before Do unto others as you would have them do unto you? Huh, okay, and then she's really into the number 13, yep. Like, really into the number 13. Well, you know, do you have that family member that has that weird hobby, like, for my family, they're like, Yeah, I got this guy that does podcasting, but I have a niece that does a lot of live action role playing that I love my niece. But if you're not into live action role playing, much like if you're not into d and d, if you're not into, I don't know, model trains, if you're not into whatever the hobby is, you're kind of like, okay, you be you.

9:02 And so I say to you, person on the right that thinks Taylor Swift is the devil. I'm not saying you're wrong. I'm just saying maybe when I go to search for Taylor Swift is the devil and other types of searches, I can't find anything. I need some proof. So again, I'm in data collection of this, not saying there isn't anything out there, just saying I haven't found it. But I know her, she's very good at making ear worms that just hook into your brain that you end up humming over and over and over. For me, the thing that I kind of went huh, was I watched her tiny concert on YouTube, and I was like, Okay, I kind of just treated her like a pop star, and her songs were simple, you know, she had great hair, but I was like, I'm not really gay. Admit, but she is a person who knows who her audience is, and gives them exactly what they want, and then goes the extra mile. I could do a whole episode on Taylor Swift and the insane thing she does to connect with her audience. Just none of them have, you know, slitting goats or pentagrams or anything like that, not that I've seen at least so in this kind of world, we got to back up our stuff with some videos or some sort of

10:33 evidence, because the mainstream media is not trustworthy because they're bought and sold by big pharma and everybody else, and I love all my friends on social media. But if you're only seeing the left side, or you're only seeing the right side, you're not getting the whole picture. And so we're all gonna have to go, yeah, not that you're a liar. Can you give me some some links to that? I want to see that myself and make my own decisions, because that's what the media is supposed to do. They're supposed to go, here's this side, here's this side.

But I just, I'm really starting to think that the algorithms might be set up, because I've read they are. And I'm starting to think, yeah, that's true, where only blue people see blue results to keep them very enshrined in the blue world. And so that when somebody says something from the red thing, they're like, How dare you. How do you even think that that's ridiculous, and you keep all the red people together, and that way, when a blue person says something, they're like, How dare you. Good day, sir. Right? Cuz, how can you even think that all I see is red, and I'm really starting to think that might be actually true, until then, hang in there. It's gonna get better.
